Goodbye paradise...hello Michigan!

This is the awesome view from our apartment in Honolulu. Our apartment was old and tiny (I know, not as tiny as yours, Lins), but the view more than made up for it.

I decided that Matt needed to SCUBA!! I hadn't been since before we got married and it was something I really wished I'd done more living so close to the ocean. As you can tell, he was thrilled. I know he never would have done this had I not bullied him into it, but he did great. He even thinks he'd like to do it again. Yay!! (Now I have to convince him the certifications classes aren't so bad)
Jack's first encounter with a gecko...awwww.

what a great smile he has with Grandpa Taylor. I love it. You will miss paradise come this winter in Michigan.

Oh man, aren't you so bummed you have to leave that scenery? I'm sure it'll be even harder for Matt. I love the look on his face in that picture.

Did you find the Gecko on his tummy or did you actually place it there? Either way, I don't see that happening with our kids. You are brave.

Good luck with the moving and settling in to Michigan. Funny, Brady is the one who wants to Scuba and I want nothing to do with it. I would jump out of an airplane again rather than scuba. I know I'm weird but there is just something about the idea of scuba diving that I don't like.

I agree with Paulette. I love the picture of Jack and Grandpa Taylor. You need to post pictures of your new view with the grass and trees being green instead of brown. It is beautiful--just not ocean. Love ya, MOM
