...and I'm told it lasts until about May. Apparently it does stop snowing, but just long enough to dig everything out. I think we may be investing in a snowblower before too long. Especially since the really heavy, wet, deep snow seems to fall when Matt is on 24 hour call. Meaning that Jack's nap=me shoveling.Matt got home in time to shovel the overnight snowfall--4 inches or so of the light fluffy stuff...he missed the 10inches of heavy, icy fun from yesterday. He did do most of the work today and dug out the end of the driveway that the snow plows contribute to...I wussed out on that part.
I couldn't post without a cute picture of Jack...Christmas ribbon is yummy!

oh nuts. I'm sorry you have dig yourself out so much. I did most of the shoveling last winter since if I didn't it turned to ice before Preston got home. I am SO HAPPY we have no snow! BTW, Jack. is. adorable.
wow! that snow looks so fun! but then again, i am saying this from the warmth of hawaii...so its pretty safe to say. but still- it makes for a more christmasy christmas time!!
You did a great job getting all that snow off the driveway. It looks
very clear. The snow is beautiful especially at this time of year. It creates a cozy feeling... when you are inside that is. Sorry you have to do so much alone Mindy. Been there.

Why don't you come to Monterey? It is cold, but not quite cold enough for snow. This morning it was 43 degrees when I left for work. Snow or no snow, we need to get together after our little one is born.
I am thinking you needed a shorter driveway and yes a snow blower will be so much better!!! Like I have said though, send some snow this way...
Oh man, what a sad comparison.
It was so good to see you at the party. When are you leaving? Let me know. Maybe we can still get together one more time.
