Jack is already growing up so fast! At his two week doctor appointment yesterday he had grown an inch and a half and gained a pound and four ounces. He jumped from the 25th to the 50th percentile for height and from the 25th to the 30th for weight. He may turn out to be tall despite his mother's genes. He is awake more now and starting to gain better control of his hands. He's even made a few non-crying noises looking at toys or faces. (we're sure he's very advanced ;-) ) I still think he gets cuter everyday--just look at the pictures!

He's so cute! He reminds us of our kids in his looks a bit, which I guess makes sense since they are cousins. hee hee. Looks like he might have the Taylor chin:) He's adorable.
Jackson is looking really cute! I agree with Becca about the similarity between the cousins. I had the same thought. I hope you guys are doing well. I look forward to holding that little guy sometime, but who knows when that will be.
Jackson is looking great! I am so glad your dad was able to come and visit after his work trip. They both look so happy to be grandparents. It gets better with each grandchild. It will be fun to get the cousins all together some day. Once everyone is settled (it could be years), we may being planning our our family reunions.
What a cutie. I can't believe how much bigger he looks already. It sounds like things are going well. Isn't motherhood the best!
Jackson is adorable! I am so happy to see your dad made it over to see him,as well as your mom. I can't begin to tell you how UNFUN it is to be a grandparent long distance. You kids are killing us off, having these precious little babies so far from the grandparents. What happened to the good old days when grandma lived next door and the kids dropped by daily for an after school cookie? For that, I would learn to bake better cookies! CONGRATULATIONS!!

It's official Jackson is all Matt. I don't see any McArthur or Chamberlain. Not that I would know since we were all babies together. He really does look like Matt to me though. I want to grab him through the screen and snuggle him. I love the picture where you are holding his neck/chest with your hand and his head is bobbling to the side. They sleep in the weirdest positions. I hope I get to see him before he gets baptized. We live pretty much on the two opposite ends of the United States spectrum and the chances of you coming here are slim. Now the chances of me coming there are pretty good seeings that wanting to go to Hawaii is a no brainer. Have you guys decided where Matt's going to school? Jackson is perfect!!!

Congrats to the both of you. Hopefully he gets the best genes from both sides. Hopefully he gets Mindy's brains and looks and his Dads athletic prowness. Hopefully he will also get some of the great qualities of his great uncles. Looking forward to seeing Jackson in person some day
