I wish I could take credit for the flowers, but they just popped up. We did a little weeding, but that's it. It's been kind of fun waiting to see what kind they turned out to be. (don't know why the pictures are skewed right, but I'm too lazy to mess with it.

Matt had a couple days off last weekend and we took a short trip up to Traverse City on Lake Michigan. We discovered Jack is at an age that traveling consists of trying to cram in an activity or two between naps. It was a pretty uneventful trip. We took him to the children's museum and he seemed to have a good time. He even got to meet Curious George.
Outside our hotel right on the beach...would have been awesome if it was about 20 degrees warmer.
Jack did great on the car rides...he had plenty to keep him entertained.

Thanks for the pictures. Those are beautiful flowers. They really add to the joy of a yard. I love the colors. I really love the flowers that come up on their own year after year. Good job.

We may have to move to Michigan if that is what my yard would look like with minimal work! It's sooo pretty there.

Hey Mind--sounds like a fun trip. I love the pic of Jack meeting curious George. :) We still--for real--need to figure out a way to meet half way at niagara--or maybe we should just ditch our husbands and do a girl weekend or something and you can bring Jack. Hope your week is going well!

Wow! Mindy you lucked out with the flowers. Just think of all the hours on your knees digging holes for all of those bulbs! Jack is getting cuter every time I see him. Glad you guys had a little time to go exploring. That is the fun part of living somewhere new. We still wish you were back here though.
